When it comes to smart choices in dietary fats, it’s olive, sunflower, soybean and canola oils and, yes, Hellmann’s/Best Foods Real Mayonnaise.

The 2005 USDA Dietary Guidelines advise Americans to keep total fat intake between 20 and 35 percent of calories, with most fat coming from sources of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, and to limit saturated and trans fat. Sunflower, canola, olive and soybean oils are all low in saturated fats and free of trans fats. Furthermore, they are high in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats. Hellmann's®/Best Foods® Mayonnaise contains soybean oil and is naturally rich in essential fatty acids.
