    Choose a base

    Tortillas-any kind will do!

    Use up your vegetables & fruit

    Lettuce, tomatoes, corn, red onion, avocado, red peppers- any veggies you happen to have will do the trick!

    Add a protein

    Chicken, steak, cheese

    Bring it all together and then add the magic touch

    Heat a skillet over medium heat. Fry 1lb of chicken or steak with some onion, garlic and seasoning. Remove. In the same pan, warm 8 tortillas and fill with protein. Top tacos with 1 - 2 cups of chopped vegetables. Add the magic touch. (Choose some hot sauce, yogurt or lemon or lime juice.)

Chef's Tip

If you want a fun variation, replace the tortillas with tortilla chips and serve as nachos.
