- 3 lbs. whole chicken, cut into serving pieces
- 1 envelope Lipton® Recipe Secrets® Onion Soup Mix
- 3 Tbsp. apricot preserves
- 1 tbsp. Hellmann's ® or Best Foods ® Real Mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp. ketchup
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Preheat oven to 350°. Arrange chicken in bottom of broiler pan; set aside.

Combine remaining ingredients in 1-quart saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring frequently, until sauce is thickened, about 1 minute. Evenly brush sauce over chicken.

Bake chicken, basting occasionally, 1 hour or until chicken is thoroughly cooked.
Chef's Tip
Tip: An instant read thermometer is a great kitchen gadget to have! It's the best way to test doneness of chicken. Insert it into thickest parts and it should read 165° for thoroughly cooked.
